ALEXANDRIA, VA — Gibson Guitar CEO Henry Juszkiewicz will be among the speakers at the 2012  International Wood Products Assn. (IWPA) convention. The convention will be held March 28-30 at the Miramonte in Indian Wells, CA. 

Juszkiewicz will join more than a dozen other speakers on subjects from the economy and international trade policy to business leaders from key market segments. The IWPA convention will also feature a half-day workshop specifically on Lacey Act compliance.

Gibson Guitar has been in headlines this past year, accused of importing and using illegally harvested lumber in violation of the Lacey Act. Gibson Guitar was recently granted more time to prepare for its federal court hearing concerning imported wood confiscated by federal agents at its plants.
