Foliot Ceases Manufacturing at TN Furniture PlantGREENEVILLE, TN — Foliot Furniture announced it will move the manufacturing of its contract furniture seating line from Greeneville, TN, to its plants in Las Vegas, NV, and St. Jerome, QUE.

 According to The Greeneville Sun, 20 jobs will be affected. The 125,000-square-foot Greeneville facility will be used for warehousing, installation, sales and service. The location also houses a 1,000-square-foot showroom.

Foliot opened its Las Vegas facility in August 2010. At the time, company President Daniel Foliot said the addition of the 300,000-plus-square-foot manufacturing facility and 7,000-square-foot showroom in Las Vegas, will help the contract furniture maker better serve customers on the West Coast.

Foliot caters to the hospitality, university and military market segments throughout North America. The company is headquartered in Quebec, site of its 250,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and 2,000-square-foot showroom.

Foliot Furniture received the 2010 Commitment to Excellence Award from the Woodworking Machinery Industry Association.
