LENOIR, NC -- Lenoir Warehouse Group reportedly made a bid on a Lenoir, NC, building previously owned by a subsidiary of Furniture Brands International. Lenoir Warehouse Group operates a furniture packing and shipping operation for Heritage Furniture, the successor company to Furniture Brands International.

According to the Winston-Salem Journal, FBI Wind Down, which is the group assigned by the U.S. bankruptcy court to handle the assets of the now-defunct Furniture Brands, received an offer of approximately $50,000.
