DANBURY, CT - Ethan Allen will now be using CertiPUR-US(R) certified foams exclusively for its entire line of custom upholstery, which includes sofas, chairs, ottomans, and headboards. CertiPUR-US certified foams are low-VOC emission materials that are made without formaldehyde, mercury, lead, heavy metals, PBDEs, ozone depleters, or prohibited phthalates.

"We are constantly reevaluating our processes to ensure that we're using the best materials available in our products. It just doesn't make sense for us to limit the use of CertiPUR-US certified foam to our mattresses," stated Ethan Allen Chairman, President and CEO Farooq Kathwari.
