DANBURY, CT - Ethan Allen Interiors recently opened flagship design centers in Saudi Arabia and Romania.

Approximately one-third of the designs centers operated by the furniture manufacturer and retailers are located outside the United States.

Ethan Allen's new design center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is the company's fifth in the Middle East. It is housed in a renovated villa and sports marble floors, elaborate ironwork and Palladian windows. At a private grand opening, Prince Mansour Bin Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz, a partner in the center described it as "Jeddah's new, exclusive home fashion destination."

The new design center in Bucharest, Romania, is a partnership between Ethan Allen and Romanian style-setter Diana Sucu and her husband, entrepreneur Dan Sucu. The center's architectural design combines crystal, granite, and glass. The Bucharest design center is Ethan Allen's third location in Europe. Its other European centers are located in Antwerp, Belgium, opened last May, and Brussels, Belgium.
