Cefla to Print, UV-cure Wood-like Designs at AWFSCHARLOTTE, NC – From flooring and store fixtures to exhibits and displays, digital printing has applications across the industry production spectrum. AWFS showgoers next month can see the latest in ultraviolet-cured print technology from Cefla.

Virtually any woodlike design that can be digitized can be printed on surfaces of greater thickness, depth and variety than ever before. This allows the creation of beautiful, durable surfaces with the variety and creativity of anything that can be printed. And the speed and flexibility of these new output devices allows manufacturers to meet the demands of today’s market for increasing variety and specialization.

PIXART, introduced at LIGNA, is designed for virtually any surface; wood, glass, ceramics, engineered wood, and aluminum. There is even a rapidly expanding market in fiber cement panels. See this new digital printing technology from Cefla in Booth #7448 at AWFS. Cefla equipment is available in two configurations; the PIXART Plot, a multi-pass printer engineered for large format installations or multi-level surfaces such as raised panel doors, and the PIXART Single Pass which is designed for short-run or custom production.

In contrast to other digital printing systems, Cefla’s is UV cured, allowing much higher production speed and output than other evaporation-based drying systems. It’s an exciting new production process that is taking hold in Europe and will certainly find a ready market in the United States, the firm says.
