Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products Industrial Floor Finish Debut

PR NEWSWIREResinDek Mezzanine Flooring Panels. CINCINNATI -  Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products, which sells wood composite industrial flooring under the brand ResinDek, has launched Diamond Seal 2, a tougher finish surface that maintains color, resists stains, and is skid resistant. 

Cornerstone Specialty Wood, a unit of Universal Woods, Inc., also launched ResinDek Floor Graphics, which allow customers to design their own message and graphics for ResinDek mezzanine flooring panels. ResinDek Floor Graphics are permanently infused directly into the proprietary coating for durable floor images.

Cornerstone Specialty Wood says it has installed several million square feet of ResinDek flooring in distribution centers, warehouses, manufacturing plants and logistical centers worldwide.

Distribution center flooring is increasingly important to e-commerce based warehousing operations, providing a more hospitable working environment for stock pickers. ResinDek panels can contribute towards earning points for LEED qualified buildings, come with a 7-year premier product warranty and have been engineered to support live and dead pallet jack limits up to 8,000 lbs.

Residendek AdaMI warehouse Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products says it has received a CE Mark for all ResinDek panels that ship into Europe. CE, or Conformité Européenne, is required for many products in Europe, and indicates the product has been assessed before being placed on the market.

Separately, Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products says its Louisville, KY-based parent company Universal Woods, Inc., received ISO 9001 certification of its manufacturing facility.
