LYONS, OR - A man was found dead in an abandoned plywood mill last Tuesday, apparently electrocuted while trying to steal copper wire.

Copper Wire Thief Electrocuted at Abandoned Plywood MillThe body of Dustin Joe Harris, 36, was discovered by an employee that is overseeing removal of equipment from the former Young & Morgan plywood mill, according to KATU news.

Police believe Harris received a deadly 480-volt jolt when trying to remove copper wiring from an electrical panel board. The man's badly burned body reportedly was thrown about 16 feet from the panel.
