Broyhill Furniture's Ed Myers to VP Zenith Global LogisticsCONOVER, NC –Signaling the resurgence of wood manufacturing in the region, furniture carrier and third party logistics provider Zenith Global Logistics named Ed Myers VP Sales, Mid-Atlantic/Northeast Region, a newly created post.  

Reporting directly to Zenith CEO Jack Hawn, Myers will be responsible for the development and management of sales activity in 11 states.

“Zenith Global Logistics has witnessed significant growth in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions,” says Hawn.

Myers is based at Zenith Global Logistics Aberdeen, MD hub, just outside Baltimore. It recently tripled in size to 88,000 square feet to meet a growing need for freight, crossdocking, full-service warehousing, and split container services in the area, according to Zenith.

Since 2000, Myers was a sales representative and territory manager for Broyhill part of Furniture Brands International Furniture. Prior to that he spent nearly two decades at Drexel Hill Furniture, where he was COO, Chief Merchandiser and VP. Past president and chairman of the International Home Furnishings Association and Tri State Home Furnishings Association, Myers now heads Zenith sales and business development in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
