MENDOTA, IL — Laminate press and gluing equipment manufacturer Black Bros. Co. has hired Ed Strahota as director of marketing/3-D product manager.

Black Bros. recently purchased the Shaw Almex press product line and has also formed a partnership with AKO and RAPHA Systems of Austria, who manufactures Smart Pin Systems, and other auxiliary machinery and components for thermolaminating and thermoforming presses.

Prior to joining Black Bros. Strahota owned and operated MechanizEd Inc. was a direct sales agent for the ORMA 3-D press line.
