BIGLERVILLE, PA - A massive fire inflicted heavy damage to Mountain Valley Farms and Lumber Products early Friday morning.

The deputy fire chief of one of 40 fire companies responding to the scene told CBS 21 News that it was among the biggest fires he had ever seen.T he accompanying video of the fire at Mountain Valley Farms and Lumber Products was shot by ChasintailPA, reportedly from 2.5 miles away.

The fire destroyed a metal building. Firefighters were hampered in their actions to douse the fire by a lack of water at the site, the news stations said.

No injuries were reported. Initial reports indicate the blaze might have been triggered by a piece of equipment.

Mountain Valley Farms and Lumber Products has a sawmill and pallet mill. Products include sawdust firelogs, mulch and firewood.
