Biesse Kicks Off Spring One2One Events in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC - Approximately 100 woodworking industry professionals participated in Biesse America's One2One event held yesterday and today at the company's North American headquarters in Charlotte.

It was the first of three One2One events Biesse scheduled by this month. The other open houses are planned at Biesse's showroom in Montreal, QC, Canada, April 18-19; and at the company's new facility in Anaheim, CA, April 25-26.

The event featured continuous demonstrations of woodworking technology, including CNC machining centers and edgebanders, plus a variety of free educational seminars on topics such as harnessing the power of computer software, improving edgebanding proficiency and the pros and cons of nesting vs. traditional cut-to-size panel processing.

In addition, nearly 20 Biesse partner vendors held were on hand to meet and greet attendees, including 20-20 Technologies, Alphacam, CIM-Tech, Cefla, Enroute, Eurosoft, Freud, Jowat, Leuco, Microvellum, Nederman, Nordson, Planit, Royce Ayr, SIA, SL Laser, Salice, WB Systech and Vortex.

Biesse is set to introduce new woodworking machines and technology at LIGNA, May 6-10 in Hannover, Germany. Biesse America also will exhibit at the AWFS Fair in Las Vegas, July 23-27.
