WHITEHOUSE, TN - Log Furniture Place, an online retailer of log furnishings, says its rough-hewn designs have achieved star status - on True Blood, an HBO series centering around the lives and loves of vampires.

The White, TN furnishings purveyor says it was commissioned by the crew of True Blood to custom-craft a bed of aspen logs. Featured in an episode that aired August 14, 2011, the "fang banger" bed, as it was known informally, was ordered after Log Furniture Place relaunched its website and its uniquely styled furniture was discovered by the show staff.  

The network's producers asked Hunt to create the True Blood Extremely Gnarly Aspen Log Bed which was featured in "Spellbound" (Season 4) on Aug. 14.

 "HBO came to us and said, 'Make us something as gnarly and unique as possible because we're going to spotlight it in Episode 8'," Hunt said. "It turned out amazing. Our Facebook fans and customers just love it."

The bed is now available for purchase at LogFurniturePlace.com and features oversized legs, a double-log spindled side rail and hand-picked logs. Rich with texture, the wood used in its construction is peeled, knotted, burled and curvy.

 "It's just a gorgeous, gorgeous bed and I'm really proud to have been able to help out HBO," says Hunt.
