DEERFIELD, IL - As the MasterBrand Cabinets, Simonton Windows and Tru-Temp Doors spins off, Fortune Brands names Sherwin Williams COO to the Fortune Brands Home & Security business.

Fortune Brands Home & Security (FBHS) business, which separate from Fortune Brands, Inc. (NYSE: FO) at the close of business on Oct. 3, elected John G. Moriki to the new company’s board, effective December 1, 2011.

 Morikis is president and COO of The Sherwin-Williams Company, an $8 billion global leader in the paint and coatings industry. He was elected COO of Sherwin-Williams in 2006.

FBHS, after its expected spin off from Fortune Brands after the close of business on October 3, will trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol FBHS effective October 4, 2011.
