MARSHFIELD, MO - Architectural Components Group Inc., a manufacturer of wood wall, suspended wood ceiling systems and other commercial wood veneer products, will receive a $740,000 zero-interest government loan toward financing the expansion of its manufacturing facility.

USDA Funds Wood Veneer Panel Firm ExpansionThe expansion project includes the acquisition and renovation of a vacant manufacturing facility located next to its Architectural Component Group's current facility in the Marshfield Industrial Group. The company plans to expand its product lines to include furniture and acoustic ceiling products used in dormitories, military barracks and other institutional buildings.

The expansion will create the need for 50 new jobs; the company currently employs about 100 full-time workers.

The loan funding is being provided in partnership with Webster Electric Cooperative through the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant (REDLG) program. Under this program, funds are loaned to a rural electric cooperative at zero-interest. The electric cooperative then re-lends the funds for projects which create jobs and provide necessary infrastructure for economic and community development.

Architectural Components Group Inc manufactures wood veneer products for commercial applications, such as interior walls, ceilings, and doors used in universities, hospitals, airports, and other commercial buildings throughout the United States.
