ALEXANDRIA, ON - Alexandria Moulding, a manufacturer and distributor of mouldings and related millwork products, has acquired Royal Woodworking of Bradford, ON.

Aurora Timberland, an Ontario-based wholesale lumber distributor, in business for 23 years, is also part of the acquisition. It will continue to operate as a standalone business with the founder Ted Rowe staying on board.

Royal Woodworking will operate as a stand-alone business unit, but will leverage Alexandria's logistics and sales network to expand its geographical coverage. Donna Gerrits, Rick Gerrits and Tom Hayes will join the Alexandria Management team. Frank Gerrits, an owner of Royal Woodworking since its founding in 1976, will retire.

Royal Woodworking specializes in manufacturing hardwood solid and custom mouldings, boards and stair components.
