Airplane Cabinetry Maker King Aerospace ExpandsARDMORE, OK -  King Aerospace Commercial Corp. announced it will expand its Ardmore, OK, facility to make room for additional cabinetry, upholstery and panel coverings capabilities.

According to AINOnline, the custom aircraft interiors manufacturer and services provider began construction last month on a 25,000-square-foot building on company grounds. The news source said it will be the first of four similar buildings planned at the seven-acre site, for a total of 100,000 square feet of additional space.

“We are in a unique position to meet our customers’ refurbishment and completion needs because we do not outsource key components of a customers’ interior,” King Aerospace Executive Vice President Keith Weaver was quoted in Blue Sky Business Aviation News. “Because we perform work in-house, KACC has greater control over quality and schedule.”

“Our investment is an indication of our long-term commitment to the industry and our customers’ future needs,” KACC Chairman and Founder Jerry King was also quoted as saying.

The current 200,000-plus-square-foot site houses offices, a shop and space for four hangars.

KACC is affiliated with King Aerospace Inc. which provides specialized government and military aviation services.
