ATLANTA - Sixty-one woodworking products from 45 companies have been entered in the 2014 IWF Challengers Distinguished Achievement Awards competition. The Challengers Award recognizes equipment, supply and service advancements with regards to technology, process or environmental improvement in the woodworking industry.
This marks the first round in the process, culminating with the seven winners being revealed at the biennial International Woodworking Fair. North America's largest woodworking event, IWF 2014 will be held Aug. 20-23 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

The field of entries will be narrowed down, with the final judging to take place the day before IWF opens. The seven winning companies will be presented with the distinctive Challengers Award bronze sculpture on opening day of IWF.
