Westridge Cabinets Builds $100,000 in Cabinets for Flood VictimsRED DEER, ALBERTA- Westridge Cabinets is pledging to build up to $100,000 in cabinetry to support as many as 10-20 families who are without insurance in the aftermath of recent flooding in this southern part of this Canadian province.

"As a company we determined that the best way to give back is to use our specific area of expertise and utilize the resources at hand to assist in the rebuilding effort," said Ron Goss, CEO of Westridge Cabinets.

Over the next weeks and months, Westridge will be considering submissions through a network of established renovation and restoration companies, new home builders, e-mail submission ([email protected]) as well as social media such as twitter (@YourNextKitchen) and Facebook ([email protected]).

"The first consideration will go to those who simply do not have insurance coverage and do not have the financial means to rebuild on their own," said Paul Lantz, VP of sales.

Westridge Cabinets employs 300, and manufactures in a 140,000 sq.ft. state-of-the-art facility, producing over 50 styles of doors, 45 multi-step, furniture-quality finishes in over 8 species. The company was fonded in 1983. Showrooms are located in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Lethbridge and in Saskatchewan, in Saskatoon.
