The Cabinet Makers Association Names New Executive Director

The Cabinet Makers Association announced the return of Jim McDermott as Executive Director, effective April 1st.

He brings to the position a wealth of knowledge and experience, says Matt Krig, current CMA president and owner of Northland Woodworks in suburban Minneapolis. McDermott is a founding board member, past president and former executive director of the CMA.

“I'm looking forward to working with the Board of Directors, our members and our industry partners” said  McDermott. He can be reached at the CMA office (414) 377-1340 or via email: [email protected]

He succeeds Dave Grulke, who left the organization in March. "It's been a great run. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with the CMA," says Grulke.

The Board of Directors thanked Grulke for his five years of exemplary service as Executive Director.

"Dave has been a valued part of the CMA these past years, as well as a friend. We wish him luck in his future endeavors," Krig says. "He has done an excellent job of representing and promoting the CMA.
