EcoVet Furniture, which reclaims maple and oak wood planks from the bottom of semi-truck trailers for conversion into tables and chairs, says it will open a new site in Chicago. EcoVet Furniture now plans to expand to Chicago, and then open in 22 cities over the next three years. Key in siting its plants is proximity to shipping transportaion hubs, assuring availability of its raw material: trailer beds.
