CHICAGO - The Window and Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA)’s Architectural Door 2014 U.S. Market Study forecasts sustained growth for the architectural door market through next year. The recently released study calculates robust market growth in the wood flush door market of nearly 24 percent for this year and 22 percent for next.

In addition, market growth for wood stile and rail doors is projected to jump 33 percent in 2014 and 25 percent for 2015.

Last year, commercial construction constituted 66 percent of the flush door market, trailed by institutional construction at 31 percent. In turn, commercial construction constituted 80 percent of the stile and rail market, followed by institutional construction at 19 percent.
