Wood Buildings on the Rise in Canada

The City of Calgary joins a growing list of Canadian towns and provinces to allow construction of wood-framed buildings up to six-stories tall. Ontario recently approved the change.

Sherwood Athletics Group Inc. has acquired the assets and liabilities of Sher-Wood Hockey Inc., from private equity firm Callidus Capital Inc. (CBL:TSX). Sher-Wood sticks are used by a number of National Hockey League players.
