Canadian Housing Starts Maintain Level Pace in November

Housing starts in Canada were trending at 194,014 units in November compared to 195,274 in October, a 0.6% decline, according to Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC).

North American shipments of particleboard increased 6.5 percent to 290 MMSF (3/4" basis) in October helping to offset a 9.4 percent drop to 177 MMSF (3/4" basis) in MDF shipments compared to October 2012.
