Pinkwood Appoints New President

Pinkwood CALGARY, AB - Residential and commercial I-joist manufacturer, Pinkwood Ltd. has appointed Bradley Parsons, P.Eng., as its new president. Parsons previously held the position of vice president of Sales and Marketing at Pinkwood.

Pinkwood This news follows the recent opening of the company's new I-joist manufacturing plant in Calgary. According to the Calgary Sun, the plant has an annual capacity of 60 million linear feet, equal to approximately $70 million in sales (Canadian).

Reportedly the largest wood I-joist maker in Western Canada, Pinkwood uses a proprietary "Pinkshield" coating on its products to protect against mold, moisture and fire. Its lines include: PKJoists, PK Fireboards Plus, PKLumber and PKBoard.
