Lumberseek Online Commodity Softwood Lumber Trading LaunchesMONTREAL - Lumberseek Group Inc., founded and operated by Lynne Gravelle, says it has launched Lumberseek Up, an online trading center intended to modernize the communications of product and pricing between sales and procurement departments of commodity based lumber and panel products.

"With hundreds of price lists e-mailed from industry sales offices across the country each week, the market is in need of a universal application to help it communicate this information more effectively," says Lynne Gravelle, President of Lumberseek Group Inc.

"Our goal is to provide the market with an affordable and user friendly internet application which will become the industry's leading pricing and product platform for sales and procurement departments of commodity lumber and panel products."

Two versions are offered: a Lumberseek UP option at $79 per month gives users same-day access to post or view products by registering. This option allows any seller of lumber or panel products to manage real-time interactive price lists while allowing any registered buyers to view that same list. Sellers have all the features required to post their products and buyers have various search options to allow them to target specific products, grades, suppliers etc.

A more interactive Lumberseek Exclusive enterprise version offered to lumber mills, panel mills, distributors and buying groups allows users to control which companies or clients will have access to view their price list, along with other features commonly used by traders and procurement departments on a daily basis.

Gravelle says Lumberseek Up can manage all softwood lumber species and panel products, while  increase the efficiency of industry sales and procurement departments.

Gravelle lists her background at a web developer site: "Having moved to my country home in West Bolton, Quebec full time last year, I set up an office close by and have been offering web development services. Prior to this, I worked for Webtec-2000 for over 10 years. I am also an owner of Lumberseek Group inc. in which Studeo Web is a division. Lumberseek Group offers a solution to the forest industry for managing commodity items."
