Herman Miller Workplace Resource ZEELAND, MI - Herman Miller Inc. will sell Workplace Resource Montreal to OBI Environments (OBI). Completion of the sale was expected to be completed March 1.

Workplace Resource Montreal was a corporately owned dealership of the contract furnishings giant. Workplace Resource provides planning, order fulfillment and project management services, as well as delivery and installation.

“We have a tremendous contract distribution channel and have enjoyed a long presence in the Montreal market. The opportunity of working more closely with OBI in these markets presents a tremendous opportunity to build-upon our strong base and to serve additional customers,” said Curt Pullen, Herman Miller’s president of North America.

Formerly known as Ottawa Business Interiors, OBI sells Herman Miller furnishings in the Eastern Ontario and Quebec markets. Founded in 1974 by Michael LeClair, the company is currently managed by Chris LeClair.
