ITW Building Components Group announced the release of the VisionREZ for Revit 2015 Architectural Plug-In.  It is a VisionREZ product designed specifically for the Revit platform and is based on the  VisionREZ products for AutoCAD Architecture (ACA), says the company. New features in the 2015 release include a User Definable Content Ribbon Insertion Tool, Automated Residential Roof Solver, Editor and Roof Trim Insertion Tools.  An enhanced version of CG Visions’ QuickStart Residential Builders Startup Kit is included with the release, which provides access to over 500 Residential Focused Revit Families, along with Master Set and Lot Specific Sample Projects and Templates, adds the company.  VisionREZ 2015 for Revit makes Revit residential friendly with tools that support a builder’s typical workflow and it allows builders to collaborate with the supply chain, convey accurate design intent to all vendors and trade partners, generate accurate quantity takeoffs and create construction documents directly from a live model, says the company.
