DeWalt introduces the DWV012 Dust Extractor Vacuum with Automatic Filter Clean. The continuous auto filter cleaning feature is designed so that every 30 seconds, one of the filters is backflushed with air to remove dust to provide suction until the tank is full. The vacuum has a 15 amp motor, which delivers 140 CFM of airflow for maximum suction. It also features a power tool activation setting that turns on the dust Extractor Vacuum whenever the user starts the connected tool, a variable speed to set the amount of suction and a bail handle for gripping and tying the tool down. Also featured is a telescoping handle for easy transport and a universal hose connector with swivel capability plus heavy duty wheels and locking casters. The unit comes fully assembled and can be used with wet or dry applications. The Dust Extractor Vacuum was designed to provide dust control solutions for drywall sanding and concrete grinding, cutting and drilling applications, says the company, and the DWV012 meets the EPA Lead Related Renovations, Repair and Painting Rule for HEPA vacuums when used with DWV9320 HEPA filters, which are included with the vacuum. Also included is the DWV9000 universal connector.
