KCD Touch software for cabinet and closet makers allows users to capture site details and design on a tablet, providing power, building technology and portability, says KCD. Applications include kitchen, home office, entertainment center, vanity, closet, and Murphy bed design and can be used for residential and commercial use. The program provides designers, builders and manufacturers speed and convenience via touch technology, adds KCD. Features include the KCD Touch Designer interface with 3D imaging of the finished look. Users can add data directly into the Designer interface, including room and wall measurements, wall photos, notes, cabinet and closet size, shape and style, custom molding, countertops and edging details. The KCD Touch Pricer lets users cost out materials and labor based on a design and offers the flexibility to make changes subbing different materials. The program allows clients to sign contracts using a stylus or run a credit card deposit. Used with KCD Workshop, Builder or Commander, KCD Touch generates a detailed cut list for cabinet makers or nests directly to CNC machinery. KCD Touch works on a Windows 8 tablet with an i5 or i7 processor and includes free technical support and training.
