Milwaukee introduces the M12 FUEL 5/8” SDS Plus Rotary Hammer Kit, designed to provide up to two times more run-time and up to 75% more speed, according to the company. The M12 SDS Plus Rotary Hammer Kit has the largest SDS Plus bit capacity in its class, adds Milwaukee. Milwaukee has combined its Powerstate brushless motor, Red Lithium battery pack, and Red Link Plus intelligence in the12V Rotary Hammer. The rotary hammer measures 10” long and weighs 3.9 lbs., but provides performance and run time that is comparable to a much larger tool, says Milwaukee. The Electro Pneumatic Design allows for drilling of up to 5/8” holes in concrete and masonry. The tool also features 2-Mode Operation, Rotary Hammer and Hammer-only. The M12 FUEL 5/8” SDS Plus Rotary Hammer is compatible with the entire M12 System. In addition to the Rotary Hammer, the kit includes the M12 Red Lithium XC 4.0 Extended Capacity Battery Pack, the M12 Lithium-ion Battery Charger and a plastic carrying case.
