Nora Lighting’s line of Edge-Lit LED Panels introduces a new pendant mounting option which allows suspension of the fixture up to eight feet from the ceiling. The suspended, extruded aluminum surface frame offers a contemporary, finished appearance, adds the company, and the panels can also be surface mounted or recessed into hard ceilings. Edge-Lit Panels are designed to uniformly illuminate offices and conference rooms with ambient zonal light while also projecting foot candles to the work surface, without the image of LED diodes, says Nora Lighting. The panels feature an opalescent lens. Available from NSpec, the architectural lighting division of Nora, Edge-Lit Panels can be utilized in home, office or commercial environments for overall illumination. The panels save energy because they deliver more lumens per watt; reduce maintenance; and save on cooling costs because there is no forward heat, says the company. Three models are available: 2’ x 2’, 1’ x 4’ and 2’ x 4’, and the fixtures include all accessories for the various mounting options. The panels are 120V/277V with a range of wattages, lumens and Kelvin temperatures available. They are also dimmable.
