The CB-280-KC and CB-290-KC are designed to prevent the user from removing the key while in the unlocked position. This is a useful feature for cabinets and furniture used in healthcare, retail/display, education and applications where the user needs an immediate visual clue that the lock is in a locked or unlocked position.
