New Finish Options for Doors And More

Conestoga Wood Specialties has added four new shades to its Truetone Finish Collection, including Cocoa, Ashen, Shale and Merlot. Conestoga says Truetone is a collection of finishes that offer a consistent appearance that adds luster and depth to wood’s natural look. The stains allow for a clean and uniform look across the surface of the product, adds Conestoga. Truetones are a lightly pigmented spray to color stains that include a small percentage of solids, says the company. Truetone finishes help minimize dark end grain and blotchiness that can happen with many finishes, especially on Maple and Birch, says the company. The new colors can be applied to Cherry, Hard Maple, Red Oak and White Birch in conjunction with Brown, Caramel, and Oyster and Sable glazes. In addition to Butter Rum, English Toffee and Sienna, the four new stains are available on other Conestoga products, including doors, mouldings, accessories, veneer, range hoods, ornaments and more.
