Baillie Lumber is now importing exotic species to the United States. The list of available species will initially include: African mahogany, genuine mahogany, Brazilian cherry, Caribbean rosewood, Spanish cedar, ipe, sapele, utile/sipo, teak, tigerwood, wenge and zebrawood. Many more species will be offered in the near future.

Many of the exotic species will be available in sizes ranging from 4/4 in. through 16/4 in. thickness. Sorts for flat-sawn, quarter sawn, pattern grade, figure and width are available. Custom sorts are also available, the company adds.
