Jet Tool's new 14” 3HP Bandsaw features a durable steel frame with a 3 horsepower, single-phase, 230V motor. The bandsaw features a 13½” resaw height and a 13½” blade-to-frame cutting width, along with a fully adjustable fence, tool-less blade guide adjustment and heavy-duty blade tensioning with quick release, says the company. The floor-standing bandsaw weighs 360 lbs. and has a steel frame and wide base that provides rigidity for smooth, stable operation and accurate cutting, adds Jet. The saw’s overall dimensions are 30”L x 26”W x 74-1/2”H. Power is transmitted to the drive pulley system via a ply-V belt, says Jet, delivering a blade speed of 3000 SFPM. The bandsaw’s 21½” x 16” cast cast iron table is set at 39 degrees from the floor and ground to assure flatness. The table tilts 0-45 degrees to the reight and 0-10 degrees left, providing support for a wide range of bevel cuts. A cast iron handwheel and large, easy-to-read scale are used to set the desired table angle, says Jet Tools. A standard miter slot is provided to accommodate a miter gauge (optional accessory), as well as jigs and fixtures. A fence measures 18-1/4”L x 6”H. The Jet Bandsaw (#714550) retails for $1,799.99.
