Rikon Power Tools announces its new 14” Bandsaw Model 10-351, with full 14” resaw capacity. The bandsaw is equipped with a large work table measuring 21-1/16” x 19-1/16” and a 13-5/8” throat, which offers users the ability to cut thicker material, says the company.  It has a 3 HP motor with two blade speeds of 2132 ft/min and 4104 ft/min provides power for re-sawing and cutting materials such as non-ferrous metal, plastic composite and foam. The 10-351’s motor operates on 230 volts, with a 12.5 amp draw. The bandsaw’s  upper and lower ball-bearing blade guides and thrust bearings reduce friction, increase blade life and contribute to smooth operation, adds Rikon.  The bandsaw also features dual 4” dust ports and a rack and pinion guide post, for easy adjustment of the cutting depth. Safety features include  a keyed power supply lockout switch. The bandsaw won’t operate or will power down if the doors are open. Depressing the foot break lever will power down the saw simultaneously and the bandsaw will not turn on if the quick release lever is not engaged. The machine’s MSRP is $1,499.99. A Mobility Kit (13-345) and Miter Gauge (13-912) are optional.
