Kerfkore introduces Foamkore-Green, a lightweight alternative to traditional panels, which features a polystyrene foam core and thin face materials. Constructed with a eucalyptus fiber face and back attached to a lightweight core, and no added formaldehyde, the company says this product can contribute to LEED credit points for MR 4.1, MR 4.2 and EQ 4.4.
Panels can weigh as little as 12 oz per sq ft and can accept a variety of edging options, including: edge capture, edge insert, outer edgeband, edgebanding and corner post. The panels also are laminated with a special glue for greater moisture resistance, the company adds.
