Neenah paper has developed Heirloom NAFTM, a veneer and furniture backer made with adhesives and saturants that do not use formaldehyde. The company says this product will help users meet Phase II requirements of California’s proposed formaldehyde emissions regulations, and it also meets or exceeds GreenGuard requirements for Indoor Air Quality certification and Children and Schools Certification. Additionally, products are available with dry adhesive pre-applied on one or two sides.
