The Quadra-Cut router bits utilize four cutting edges, versus the industry standard of two, for a good finish on the most delicate of materials, Freud says. Two of the carbide cutters have an upshear angle to remove most of the stock. Then the pair of downshear cutters make a final cut to produce a clean edge. Freud says the bits leave a surface that requires no sanding or rework. The Quadra-Cut bits are available in 1/2-in. shanks, in select edge forming bits.
