Wood handles tap into craft beer market

The popularity of craft beer has prompted designers to incorporate beer taps into kitchen cabinet designs. One Minnesota wood design company, Hout Design, is tapping into that trend with its unique wood beer handles made from maple, oak, walnut, cherry and Arizona manzanita.

Craft brewers are also using oak, alder, hickory and more to influence the taste and aromas of the specialty brews as well as for aging.
