VACUUM TUBE LIFTER

Schmalz, Inc. introduces the JumboErgo Vacuum Tube Lifter for loading and unloading of CNC machining centers. The vacuum tube lifter JumboErgo with multiple suction pads and a pneumatic swiveling unit allows a CNC woodworking center to be flexibly loaded and unloaded with wooden boards and furniture parts. The PSE pneumatic swiveling unit can pick up workpieces from an upright transport pallet and swivel them by 90° without jarring, says the company. Because the beam is infinitely adjustable, the four suction pads can be adapted to fit each wooden shape. The load is lowered by pressing “Accelerate” and lifted by pressing “Decelerate”. The lifting aid offers functions similar to a motorcycle gas handle, making handling quick and gentle. In combination with the SK column-mounted slewing crane, only one person is needed to perform the work ergonomically and at any working height, according to the company.
