3-D LAMINATING TECHNOLOGY

Italpresse USA introduces the Formatic 209/P designed for laminating natural wood veneers on raised cabinet and furniture door panels, profiled on one face and flat on the opposing face. With the optional double-membrane package, the machine can laminate veneer on raised panels for passage doors profiled on both faces. The Formatic’s 3-D laminating technology utilizes thermal fluid behind the membrane instead of compressed air for improved heat transfer to the glue line and higher forming pressures when compared to presses utilizing compressed air, according to the company.  Italpresse USA will be in Booth 5446 at IWF 2012.
