MILWAUKEE - We are very pleased to announce the winners in the 2014 Wood Diamond Awards contest today. “With over 50 projects and the CMA members behind them being recognized for their extraordinary talents, it’s both humbling and inspiring to see the levels of style and execution from this group of world class shops”, Dave Grulke, CMA Executive Director said.

“This year marks our 4th year in offering the awards program. Our members never cease to amaze me. As you look over the projects that were submitted you can see the craftsmanship our members have and use to create beautiful, functional, wooden items of cabinetry and furniture,” said Tracy Yarborough, CMA Board Member and Chair of the Wood Diamond Awards Program.

“This program has proven to be of great value to those that participate. Each entry is available for viewing on-line which gives our members a place to showcase their work and offer clients a gallery of pictures to look at their previous projects. The award plaques (our Wooden Diamond) is an eye catcher on the wall due to its unique shape and shows off the efforts of the entrant.”

“I congratulate all those who have participated and must say that there are no losers in the bunch. All the entries were well worthy of recognition. I hope to see more participation in the year ahead.”
