Excitement for Cabinets & Closets Expo

The Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo kicks off next week in Edison, NJ, and the staff of Closets is busy preparing to cover what will be a fantastic show.

The conference, which starts Wed., Feb 27 at the Sheraton Edison Hotel Raritan Center, is full of sessions offering the lastest insights on the home organization and storage market and how to maximize business opportunities.

Later on Wed. evening the gala awards reception takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sheraton. It's a chance to meet and greet new and old friends, plus, enjoy the presentation of  the 7th Annual Closets Top Shelf Awards winners. And for the first time, the 20th Annual Custom Woodworking Business Design Portfolio award winners will be presented.

The Expo starts on Thurs., Feb. 28 at the New Jersey Convention & Exposition Center. It's a chance to discover the latest industry products and services from a host of exhibitors. Also, near the end of the show Houzz.com will offer a special presentation from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the Expo Demo Stage. Make sure you stop by to hear the latest result from its "2013 Houzz and Home Study," its second annual survey on home renovation and remodeling from the consumer perspective.

Also, if you're interested in pine beetle wood, make sure you check out Corbin Clay, the "pine beetle furniture star" at the Eveready Hardware Booth. Presented by Festool Corp.

The Expo closes out Friday with plant and showroom tours.
