In its 17th year, the entrants in this year’s Design Portfolio Awards competition have once again impressed and amazed the judges with their complex designs and expert craftsmanship.

AlestRukov, a company based in Russia, build computer mouses that are made from a single piece of red or black wood such as bubinga, makor, sapele or ebony. According to the company, it took four years to develop the manufacturing techniques, which it says are completely environmentally friendly.
