Cabinet Hardware at IWF: New Hinges, Slides, Glides and Knobs

Regardless of the style of cabinet – face frame or frameless, classical, transitional or modern – key to its functionality as well as aesthetic is hardware, both functional and decorative.

And there is no better opportunity for woodworkers to find the latest supplier updates and launches than at the 2014 IWF to be held Aug. 20-23 in Atlanta, GA.

From hinges, slides and glides to knobs and pulls, the industry’s largest names will be on hand in Hall A of the Georgia World Congress Center displaying their wares.

New from Grass, is the tool-free Tiomos Impresso hinge now available in a 42mm/45mm boring pattern.

Hafele America’s sliding door hardware lines Clipo, Slido and Frontino and sliding door system Aluflex will be on display.

Show-goers also will see Hettich America’s Sensys hinge system, which features an integrated soft-closing mechanism.

The K Push Magnetic Catch from Richelieu is a new automatic opening system for doors without handles or knobs.

Scilm America’s Gola profiles offer a practical way to design European handle-free kitchen drawers.

New from Knape & Vogt is its 4400 side-mount drawer slide.

Woodworkers will also get a glimpse of Eagle Moulding’s Z Clips available in 2˝, 6' and 12' for hanging cabinets.

Rev-A-Shelf’s Universal Pull Down 5UPD Series is designed to meet the growing demand for medical storage solutions in the kitchen. The new Universal Pull Down system is readily adaptable for the storage of pet supplies, baby necessities, craft items and more.
