Walnut and Bird's Eye Maple Liquor Cabinet
Designed to hold an impressive collection of beverages, this walnut and bird's eye maple liquor cabinet has many features that allow for ease of enjoyment of its contents. Contained within the main cabinet is a wine cooler.. which can be accessed through a small door in the main door for those times you just need a cold one. Once the main door is opened (which activates the interior lighting), full access to the entire collection is available. A series of U-shaped shelves are found in front of the large mirrored back wall in the top section. The butcher block surface that separates the top and bottom halves can hold more beverages and serve as a prep area. If more serving space is needed, a swing out butcher block bar is available for use. The lower half of the cabinet houses the cooler as well as a honeycomb shaped 36 bottle wine rack... which can be pulled out to reveal a secret storage area for "the good stuff". The door itself has shelves galore to hold additional beverages and supplies. The honeycomb theme was used throughout as a tribute to the owner's collegiate mascot "the Yellow Jackets". Hopefully the owner won't be moving any time soon as the cabinet weighs approximately 800 pounds when empty. It does come apart into three sections (top, bottom and door) to make transportation a bit easier.
