Pollmeier discusses the advantages of a single-species focus at AWFS 2017
Doug Martin of Pollmeier describes the significance of the European Beech species used for its lumber products at the 2017 AWFS Fair.  Focusing on a single species allows the company's products to have a greater consistency in grain and color. 
 
Martin says because of beech’s contemporary look, it has replaced oak in a lot of production facilities.
