CITY Furniture completes 1.4 million square foot distribution facility

CITY Furniture, a family-owned American furniture and mattress retailer, and fine upholstery furniture manufacturer, has completed a nearly 1.4 million square foot distribution facility and showroom in Plant City, Florida. The 87-acre development includes more than 1 million square feet of warehouse space, as well as a nearly 200,000 million square foot, two-story showroom.

Chair company keeps working despite major fire

Despite a fire that destroyed its main factory on Friday, Sept. 16, the Stanfield-based custom furniture company Morgan Chair was back in business on Tuesday. The company has a new home and has continued to employ its 25 full- and part-time employees. The company is now working out of another facility after its facility on Sunset Lake Road caught fire Friday afternoon.

eSolutions Furniture names president and CEO

Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada -- The eSolutions Furniture company has named Luc Mongeau as president and CEO effective immediately. Mongeau will succeed Mike Evans, president, and CEO, who will be retiring on September 30, after 24 years of service to the company. The retirement of Mike Evans is consistent with the planned changes following the merger of Bestar and Bush Industries to create eSolutions Furniture more than two years ago.
